Jon Voight is a great actor.  I personally single out his roles in Midnight Cowboy, Catch-22 and Coming Home as some of the best acting ever.  I have great respect for his professionalism when it comes to the business of making movies.  However, when this Academy Award-winning actor turns his hand to politics, my respect turns to dismay.

VIDEO: Ritter speaks to MTV about the importance of being an educated voter.

David Albright has a track record of inserting hype and speculation about matters of great sensitivity in a manner which skews the debate toward the worst-case scenario.

Scott Ritter made a surprise visit to a group of Missouri high school students to discuss the prospect of war with Iran and how to utilize citizenship in a representative democracy. 

The burden is on NBC to prove that it wasn’t complicit with the Bush administration concerning its reporting on Iraq and administration policies, and not on NBC’s critics to prove that it was.

At MSNBC, I heard Scott Ritter smeared — on-air and off — as a paid mouthpiece of Saddam Hussein.

MSNBC wouldn’t allow Phil Donahue to have Scott Ritter on unopposed, whereas supporters of the President were on alone.
